Wildlife Express, Miniature Train

The train will operate for Spring Break (March 17, 2007 to March 25, 2007) and weekends through to July 1 when daily operations commences for the summer. The hours of operation during this period will be 10:00 am to 3:30 pm.

For the 2007 season the Wildlife Express operates:

• Every day of Spring Break and weekends as well as holidays from March 17, 2007 to June 30, 2007.

• Every Day July 1, 2007 to September 3, 2007.

• Weekends September to Thanksgiving: October 8, 2007

The last run will be 3:30pm daily.

The train will operate for Wildlights (December 14, 2007 to January 6, 2008 - closed Christmas Day).

All aboard the 'Wildlife Express'! With over a kilometre of track and fees of only $0.50 for children and $1.00 for adults, the Wildlife Express is the best value miniature train ride in Canada.

Featuring a replica of the C.P. Huntington steam locomotive with three covered coaches, speaker system and authentic sounding whistle and bell, you will enjoy your ride through the Park grounds lined by Ponderosa Pine and sagebrush cloaked hillsides.

Zippity Zoo Zone Playground & Splash Park

The Zippity Zoo Zone Playground

open from spring thaw until freeze-up every year
(approx. early April through to end November)

Children are encouraged to roar around in the Zippity Zoo Zone Playground. Featuring the Eagles Aerie, Badgers Burrows and Giant Spiders Web, this playground incorporates a bit of wildlife habitat into your child's play while at the Park.

Splash Park

Kids and adults alike can cool down in the Splash Park. May 19, 2007 to Sept 3, 2007 (10:00am to ½ hour before closing (weather permitting)
* The Splash Park closes for the season at the end of the day on Sept. 3, 2007)

Family Farm Animal Encounters

Operating Daily (May 7, 2007 to September 3, 2007)

Take a moment and delight in the touch and grooming of pygmy goats at the Family Farm! You can assist our volunteers in caring for these lovable animals. Open from 10:00 am to one half hour before closing.

The Wildest Birthday Around

Operates on Birthdays!

Celebrate the wildest birthday around and experience wildlife encounters and a variety of interactive activities with a Park interpreter. Enjoy close encounters of the wild kind with our enthusiastic interpreters. We offer insect, birds of prey or snake theme birthday parties. What better way could you spend your child's birthday then the BC Wildlife Park? A fun filled educational Wildlife Experience that will keep all those little ones begging for more.

Your Wild Birthday Party will include:

• A days admission into the park

• Private decorated party area for 2 hours

• An enthusiastic Park interpreter will lead in an animal encounter and games.

• Meal for all party participants - your choice of Hot Dog or Pizza and popcorn and a drink.

• Free time to open gifts and have cake

• Extra time out in the park.

• Access to invitations posted on the website where parents can print off at home and handout prior to booking.

All for a great low price for $15.00 per person plus tax. Minimum of $150.00 (equivalent to 10 people) and a maximum of 20 children.
